Montauk Adventures

It’s taken some time since we returned from our adventures to Montauk to put together a report about our journey. During the several weeks we were away from our home port in Point Pleasant, the John Jack traveled over 1000 miles visiting 9 different wrecks sites with 6 different charter groups. Our customers and crew enjoyed great dive sites including the German U-boat U 853, the USS Bass, and the Andrea Doria, to name a few.  The on-board chefs prepared incredible meals that surpassed the expectations of all aboard.  Some of the emails we received put big smiles on the faces of the crew. I added some of them to this post:

“Thanks again for being the perfect host with a great crew and a great boat, making the Block Island trip a blast”

“Had so much fun on Block Island trip”

“Thanks a million . . . a trip on the John Jack was the "legend" we expected, and no vessel is any greater than its captain and crew . . . thanks again . . . .“

We saw and photographed such incredible marine life over this trip - although Captain Rich missed snapping a pic of the whale that breached only yards from the boat.  "You snooze; you lose." When diving on wrecks, divers look for artifacts to proudly display when they get home. Our Doria divers were no different and many traveled home with artifacts to show their friends and family. As the new Owner and Captain of the John Jack, a hearty Thank You to the many divers who joined us for our First Year Adventures in Montauk. I also want to thank my crew for their efforts, since no success can ever be achieved without support. Be sure to join us in our upcoming trips from Point Pleasant. The NE dive season is only half over with the best local conditions still ahead. Capt. Rich.  Don't just live; Live the Adventure on the John Jack.
