The North East Dive Season
Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 3:30AM A warm sunny sky and mild seas were the order of the day for the John Jack. A short 20 min. sail from the head bouy of Manasquan inlet put us on an old favorite, the wreck of the Mohawk. With six divers on board it was, "the pool is open" when the signal was received that Dive Master Tom had us secured to the wreck. The divers entered the water with smiles hidden by equipment enjoying this pleasant day on the ocean. Hot soup was waiting for the group as they made their way back on board with excited conversations about the enjoyment shared by all on this wonderful day on Lake Atlantic. The John Jack sails next weekend with a private charter on Saturday and an open boat on Sunday to the wreck of the Resor. There are still 2 open spots for the Resor trip. Call Captain Rich if your interested. The Resor has something for everyone. Depths from 80 feet to 130 feet. Plenty of places to dig and usually loaded with Lobster and scallops. Join us for this planned adventure.
