It was like the fish were just jumping on the boat in an effort to get in our coolers. The Sea Bass were plentiful with trip customers bringing in 40 to 50 keepers and retuning at least that many that were short. Everyone had plenty of pole action and plenty of fish to bring home. The Striper action was off and the fluke that was caught were returned not meeting regulation standards. If your a new customer, come enjoy a day of fishing with us. Call the Captain. If your a returning customer, welcome back. It means we did the right thing and you enjoyed your experience with us. Call the Captain and book another spot. If you would like to know what we are about, we will be happy to fill you in. Call the Captain There is plenty of fun to be had, enjoy the outdoors and the ocean. Capt. Working some color jigs on a slow drift just North of the Manasquan Inlet landed a hefty 40 inch stripper for a first time fisherman from Elizabeth NJ. Congratulation to Kris and his expertly displayed pole handling skills. Come join us for one of our many adventures on the John Jack and see what you can bring home Capt. Fishing off shore for Tuna. The Big Red Boats size and design enable it to respond to any demand. On Wednesday afternoon Sept. 29 the John Jack loaded up with several thousand dollars worth of fishing gear, a ton of ice and 8 flats of bait. After a 90 mile sprint to the off shore Canyons and big fish territory, baiting and chumming began and poles were set into motion. What a night!! Having shared the excitement of diving to some of the most respected wrecks on the east coast and exploring caves of Mexico and reefs of the South Pacific I didn't think anything would get my blood flowing like the first big fish we hauled on the boats back deck. Using standing tackle wrestling a Hugh Sword Fish onto the deck was a new high. It was like living in a movie script when it was pulled aboard with it's 2 foot long bill and tremendous body size. It didn't fit in the 6 foot long coffin cooler put on the deck for the catch. After pulling several yellow fin a long fin took the hook and after more than 20 min's of working him he was also put on the deck. Over 90 pounds of tuna can make your arms feel like soup noodles. Several more fish including a pile of Mahi Mahi filled the coolers as we headed back to the Point. Talk about one exciting evening. Join us for one of our fishing trips and learn fishing from one of the several guides we have sailing with us that love to share their experiences and tell you how to land the big ones. Call me for your spot. Captain Rich
