Rick Reichenbacher
Certified to dive in 1980, this Indiana boy thought that every wreck was an open invitation. Soon realizing that diving is a progressive sport, I worked my way through both the PADI program and every quarry in the Midwest. My adventures started to include The Great Lakes, Florida and North Carolina but The Andrea Doria was still an unfulfilled goal. In 1997, I completed my advanced Trimix training in New Jersey and started aggressively diving The Northeastern shipwrecks. Today I’m amazed with all the wrecks that I’ve had the opportunity to dive. Along the way, eight magazines published my articles, I‘ve appeared in two books and one documentary. While attending The Ohio State University, I designed and built two human powered submarines for the 2nd & 3rd ISR races. I am very happy to be a member of the John-Jack crew and hope to be part of some of your best dives. |
