Charter Operations

John Jack Seagoing Adventures operates primarily as a dive charter vessel designed and equipped to provide full service scuba diving adventures in the North East Atlantic. We can also provide service for any request our customers may require including, Harbor Cruise, Dolphin Watch, Fishing Charters, or even that special place to exchange your marriage vows.

Our home port is Point Pleasant, NJ. We also have trips that depart from other locations including, Montauk, Cape May, Virginia and even Cape Hatteras. New this year are trips leaving from Atlantic City

The Charter Boat

The John Jack is a USCG Inspected Passenger Vessel. It is over 50 feet in length. It is one of the newest and fastest boats in the New York and New Jersey area. The John Jack is powered by two state of the art electronically controlled 3406 Caterpillar E series engines. Each engine is rated at 800 horsepower.  The boat can exceed 25 knots when fully loaded. This gives the vessel the capabilities of crossing more than 350 miles between fuel stops making long trips a breeze. On board the boat has an electrical inverter system. This system provides 110 volt power at all times. This allows the refrigerator, microwave, ice maker, and power outlets to run silently without using the generator. The John Jack is specially equipped with a 20 KW Northern Lights generator. This unit powers the air conditioning and compressors as well as providing 110V power and lighting. The entire boat can be illuminated with 500 watt quartz halogen lights. This is great for night diving or when loading equipment the night before a charter.
